Make Sure You Post Regularly But Not Overly So
You have to blog regularly to keep search engines interested, ping sites interested and even more importantly, people interested. If you don't post regularly, all of the above will still coming back as frequently and will lose interest in your site.
You should post at least once a week, at the very least. Two to three times would be better. But make sure you don't post every day all day. This makes your site to search engines look like a spam blog. Also make sure you split your post times up. Some weeks post on mondays, thursdays and sundays, other weeks post on the other days.

If you want to make money from your blog, you must have the following steps at the back of your mind:

STEP ONE OF FIVE.
You must choose a niche: You must not face a general writng. For example, if you are writing on forex as a niche, then focus in that niche, no digression. This brings specific traffic.

STEP TWO OF FIVE.
Traffic Biulding: If your blog does not have traffic, you are not going to make it. Therefore, traffic building is your utmost and you must figure out how to do this without paying a dime. Now one secret is that you can generate lots of traffic for free without spending a dime on google aswords and any other related advertising methods. For instance when I created this blog, I quickly figured out how to get traffic. First, I visited google.com and I typed a search term 'add my url free' and I had a list of site submission directory and started submitting my site.( More of TRAFFICKING will be available in my next post 'How To Get Massive Traffic To Your

STEP THREE OF FIVE.
Content: You see, many people will not make money on the internet, even with free methods. A lot of people desire to own sites or blogs and start making money without any input. This is a complete lie. You will need to write fresh content daily, or thrice a week as you decide. But let me stress here, search engines are actually looking for contents that are fresh. Above all, your articles are actually short articles of between 200 to 400 words. Let me bet you that if you post four articles on your site or blog weekly, in the next one year, you are in big bucks. Pure and Simple.

STEP FOUR OF FIVE.
List Building: If you are serious about making money online, then you must consider this at all cost. Feigning or living under an umbrella where you use someone else's list to market your produt will not help you. There are easy list building method for free and paid. One thing stands out here: If you provide junks to people, they will opt-out of your list.

STEP FIVE OF FIVE.
Blog With Traffic: If your blog does not have traffic, you are not going to make it. Threrefore, traffic building is your utmost and you must figure out how to do this.

Well, I wouldn't actually leave that out but let me reveal their secret to you right now; the bulk of their income comes from the advertisement space they sell in the newspapers.

Secondly let me ask you again; how do you suppose newspapers will funish their websites with even more news than in their newspapers despite the fact that you will be reading all that stuff for free? That's the same strategy used by yahoo.com, google.com and several of the web's billion dollar companies. Do you pay Yahoo or Hotmail before you open an email account with them? Have you ever stopped to ask yourself what they stand to benefit by letting you open an email account for free?

GOOGLE ADSENSE
This is a revolutionary advertising program introduced by google.com, the internet premier search engine. It is a direct result of Google AdWords. I will not go into technicalities, but Google.com automatically reads through your website, determines its major keywords, and then displays ads related to the content of your website. You are paid each time someone clicks on any of the adverts displays on your website - these types of adverts are called Pay Per Click (PPC) advertisements. For example, it the central theme of your website is 'NIGERIA' then the AdSense adverts displayed on your site will be exactly targeted to Nigerians. You can register for Google AdSense at www.google.com/adsense.

Beautifully, you do not even need your own website to start earning from AdSense - you can do so with a free website or a free blog. You can start your own blog at http://www.blogger.com/ - it is also owned by Google.com. Google pays you at the end of every month when the AdSense revenue from your blog or website has gotten to $100.
N.B: Do not be fooled into thinking you can repeatedly click on you ownadverts to make money - google will eventually find out and ban you from their network. Once you are banned, you stay banned!

A blog is an online journal. It can also be referred to as a blog site. The reason blog is easier for everyone to make money with; is that it is an automated system. Once it is working, you can post your articles and it is published at the instant and people well in the globe start seeing it and reading your blog.
